Born in Iran, Boris Bezroukov is the son of Russian immigrants. He moved to Switzerland at the young age of three, and after high school, emigrated to the United States.....never to look back.
Boris graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a double-major in Art and Anthropology, and went on to earn his Master's Degree in Anthropology at The New School in New York. Additionally, he earned a Master of Science degree from the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University.
With his education behind him, and armed with a fluency in seven languages, Boris began his diverse career in the catering business under Dino DeLaurentiis. He moved on to a year in the world of finance, before landing a job as an Art Director at the advertising/marketing firm D'Arcy, Masius, Benton, and Bowles in Atlanta, Georgia. Later, Boris started his own company "And," in Kentucky, which manufactured furniture, shirts, and accessories.
In Florida, Boris met his beautiful wife, Catalina, a native of Colombia, South America. The couple moved to Los Angeles with their two children, where they opened "Boris Artistry in Framing."
Throughout all the years, Boris' first love was and always has been art....whether it be sculpture, photography, or expressions through multi-dimensional pieces. Art is and has remained his first passion.
Lately, computer "magic" and diversity have pushed Boris in a new direction, where he utilizes traditional forms of expression such as collage and painting, while interjecting the versatility of the new digital medium of computers. This combination has led Boris to create his own, unique vision.
